My mom passed away three years, but I have her right in my heart. She was my best friend and a great mother. She was a strong woman with a generous heart.

Well, I am sort of a parent--lol--I have a shih tzu. lol.

Family mystery game starring the Dickens family of detectives. It's an eclectic group of sleuths, all of whom are archetypes of famous detectives. there's the Sherlock Holmes looking grandfather, his gumshoe detective son, Murder She Wrote sister, and her undercover cop husband. There's also the Nancy Drew Wannabe grandaughter, and a whiz kid that fancies himself a superhero. Not to mention his hot mom: I'm not sure what archetype she fits, but she's got that sexy reporter vibe.

The game supports one to four players to solve various mysteries. It's a lighthearted game, and the dialogue in it is humorous and well acted.

Super Mario Galaxy 2

This is great for super mario fans.

Gameplay will be similar to that of the first Super Mario Galaxy, with a focus on
platforming based on and around 3D planets (referred to collectively as galaxies) with varying sizes and landscapes. The planets will also be smaller allowing the player to jump from planet to planet. The protagonist Mario will be able to ride the bipedal dinosaur Yoshi, who can use his tongue to swing across gaps, as well as eat different fruits that give him different powers, such as speed boosts, the ability to inflate like a balloon, or the power to reveal secret paths.[8] While the player retains the ability to collect Star Bits with the blue Star Pointer from the first game, the Star Pointer is replaced by a red dot when riding Yoshi, which allows the player to aim and control his tongue. This can be used for swinging off objects, pulling levers or, as in previous games, swallowing enemies and spitting them out.

Storyline by EA:

It is a hand-to-hand combat, driving cars and motorbikes, and extensive gunplay. Extensive emphasis has been put on the action, involving, ability to perform melee combos, counters, grapples and using the environment to freerun and fight seamlessly. As well as ability to perform road stunts such as car jacking in mid car chase. The plot focuses on the moral struggle of Wei to stay true to his mission and stop the Triads while keeping his cover and being as much like the criminals as possible.

Uncharted 2 New maps

Uncharted has released two additional multiplayer maps.
Highrise and Museum. I have play both--I like the Museum better. I guess I have to get use to the maps and where are the safe spots.

There is a stomach bug going around

Well, It's Friday I feel ok--food is not to appealing to me. I know three people who had the bug. It takes about a week or so to get it out of the system. Hopefully, I can get it together tomorrow because I have to study and review two different books--too many chapters. lol.

Finals

Well, I have been reviewing for my classes as finals are only a few weeks away. It hasn't been easy since I fighting some type of stomach bug. Everything is a chore for me. I hope that by the weekend I feel better.

Fear 3

9 months after the events of the first F.E.A.R. game, Alma's influence has survived. She is close to giving birth to the third prototype. His overall motivations, however, are unknown, and he refuses to leave his brothers side. The ATC returns, and must eliminate all evidence in fairport. Now the Pointman must decide his allegiance. Will he help his F.E.A.R. team put a stop to everything? Will he help his brother with his currently unknown agenda? Or will he side with his mother, Alma?

I saw the trailer for this and its like watching a horror film.

Toy Story 3

Graphics look great. The players will be experiencing the adventures from the toys' perspective--which I think is cool. They including a toy mode will the players will be able to create their own story.

Heavy Rain

The Taxidermist(Add on) It was short and it has 6 different endings depending on the player's decisions. I liked it. It costs $4.99 to add on, but I received it for free because I preordered the game.

Madison is a journalist investigating the origami murders and she finds herself in a fight for her life againist a demonic serial killer. Depending on the decisions and quick interactions will determine the ending!!!

Nintendo 3D

Can you believe it? They just released in March 2010 the Nintendo DSi XL and now the Nintendo 3D is suppose to come out in March 31, 2011. Supposedly, Nintendo 3D other features will include rumble capabilities and a single analog stick. The price is ??? lol. I know is going to be pricey.

Dead Rising 2

I have never played Dead Rising but this looks like a good game. The player will have to fight hordes of zombies while rescuing civilians. There will be various missions, customization of weapons, and 6 different endings.

Uncharted 2 Co-op

When I played Uncharted Coop I can't believe some of these players--they are literally crazy. One guy he was bragging how good he was and I can tell you he was horrible and not a team player and kept on talking...another was down and was screaming for help and he kept going down because he kept rushing towards soldiers. At one point I gave up helping him because I got killed. This is the icing on the cake--they ask me if can add them on my list--I did not accept them as a friend. I just like to play the game and finish the stages. Also, I like to help players to achieve their goals for weapon upgrades.

Too many terms.

I almost forgot to blog tonight. I am mentally exhausted from studying for a test for tomorrow. Too many terms too little time. I will probably have nightmares of these terms. lol. I hope I will get some sleep.

Dead Rights: Retribution

Jack Slate a cop who fights to expose shadowy figures that will stop at nothing to exert their deadly influence over the crumbling metropolis. Also, he has a partner Canine. It is suppose to be a action packed game. Heavily shooter and combat.

Heavy Rain

The thought and process put into this game is amazing. Based on my sister's decisions on the game- it change the ending completely from mine. She wasn't too happy. lol. I sat and watch her play--liked I mentioned before it was like watching a mystery suspense movie. It was great.

Brink

In Brink, two sides, "Resistance" and "Security", fight in the outskirts of a utopian city known as The Ark, a floating city surrounded by the waters of a flooded Earth. The Ark was designed as a prototype of a perfect city, with renewable resources and no pollution, large enough to support 5,000 residents. Its population has grown to 50,000 however, leading it to the brink (hence the name of the game) of a civil war.

Nier

Nier he begins his desperate quest to discover a cure for his daughter, Yonah, who is stricken with the deadly Black Scrawl disease. Armed with a powerful set of magical abilities as well as mighty swords and armor he must find the cure and the mystery behind this disease. In this game you can treasure hunt and go on quests. It reminds me of Assassins Creed II. The only difference you fight monsters and big bosses in Nier.

Fallout: New Vegas

It is not a sequel from Fallout 3 but from Fallout and Fallout 2.

The perks, combat(V.A.T.S), Karma, and weapons will be similar to Fallout 3. The game is set in post-apocalyptic Las Vegas, Nevada in year 2260. This is one game I will look forward to playing. I still play fallout 3 and I am always finding new locations and quests to do.

Heavy Rain

I just completed the game. It was great. The suspense of who the killer was kept me guessing and I was in for a big surprise in the end. There were decisions I had to make and let me tell they were not easy. There were times Ihad to make choices and react quickly or the results could be devastasting. There were many points in the storyline that kept my adrenaline on HIGH! It was like watching a mystery/suspense movie.

I was happy with my choices and the ending.

Assassins's Creed II

Assassin's Creed II occurs across two timelines: a modern-day chronology starring bartender Desmond Miles, and Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the son of a 15th-century Italian banker. Ezio's freedom is soon cut short by murder and betrayal by the assassins' greatest threat: the Templars. They murder his father and two brothers. His father leaves specific instructions and chest that contains assasinsin's garments and tools.

The graphics and sound are good. I love the different environments and the ability to roam in the Renaissance era in Italy. You can accept or deny missions. Of course, there is combat.

One of those days.

I could not sleep so I have been up since 4am. I am overwhelmed with reading(these technical books), studying for quizzes, test, and homework that is not including my daily to do lists.

I was trying to read that article for Internet Tools class and it just was not sinking in. I tried looking at Web 2.0 apps--it is time consuming because if I am going to write about it --I need to understand the app and learn it. My mind is just in a fog and I know its because I did not get any sleep. I just hate it when it happens because it just screws my day up.

Hopefully, I will get something accomplish today. Well..that is it for now.

Uncharted 2 Co op

I was playing Gold Rush and we have reached stage 10(last stage)--suddenly the player with the treasure decided to go towards a rush of soldiers--YES--we lost. I was so frustrated. I tried playing with different players and one player all he cared about was accumulating points, however, if the timer goes to 0--we do not get any points--and that is exactly what happened. We end up losing the game. Third game, it was so bad I end up quitting. I am not great player but I am a team player. Some players do not get it. I like Resident Evil 5 Co-op better because the score is the same for both players. Therefore, both players have to stick together and try to accumulate as many points as possible.

From my experience--the only way to make it through Uncharted 10 stages in Survival or Gold Rush is team work--otherwise--you lose. It is impossible to win without team work. I have won the game with a player and myself--it is hard(usually you need three players) but we stuck together and we won.

Uncharted 2 Multiplayer

The multiplayer mode is fun, fast-paced, and competitive. A team consists of usually 5 players(heros) and players(villians). You choose your boosters 1 & 2. Boosters are unlocked at reaching a certain level and it comes with a price. Example: Booster Slot 1 Down the Irons (better your accuracy when aiming long guns)You must reach level 14 and the cost is $18,750. You can upgrade your guns, taunts, and skins--its the same principle. You do receive some free hero, taunt, and villian skins.

I upgraded all my weapons, but I did not feel the need to buy certain boosters. I am at level 50.
The highest level is 60.

Well, I am trying the Second Life Beta and so far I like it.

Browser-like navigation bar includes familiar forward and back buttons, the ability to save favorites, and review your teleport history.
Sliding right-hand panel surfaces the most frequently used features and makes managing your profile, contacts, groups, landmarks, inventory, and outfits easy.
Improved search makes it easy to find places to explore or shop and people to meet.

Nintendo DSi XL

Three more days for the release of the Nintendo DSi XL on March 28, 2010. The screen is increased by 93% making easier to play and view from different angles. The graphics are suppose to be improved and three titles that have been pre-installed on the system. These include the brain-training games Brain Age™ Express: Math and Brain Age™ Express: Arts & Letters, as well as Photo Clock, which lets users customize the pictures on the background of their clock. I am disappointed because I found out that Microsoft decided to stop PC version.
Suppose to be a intense psychological thriller. A game filled with missions, puzzles, combat, and horrifying enemies. Alan Wake is a writer. Alan and his wife decide to take a trip to a tranquil place hoping that he can start writing again. During their vacation his wife vanishes without a trace. He finds a thriller book
that word by word he cannot remember writing and that it is coming true before his eyes.

Splinter Cell Conviction

A double agent Sam Fisher finds out that the death of his daughter was not an accident. In the midst of trying to find his daughter's killer somehow he finds himself in a race against time to stop a deadly terrorist plot that could kill millions. Playstation 3 Move controller

Finally, Playstation 3 will have "PS3 Move" sometime in the fall. I can't wait so that I can play tennis, boxing, and sports. Similar to Wii--which I have played--but better graphics.

Alpha Protocol

This game is about an agent named Michael Thorton. Of course, he is the only one with the information needed to stop an impending international catastrophe. The players job is to determine how he/she is going to accomplish these missions. Depending on the players actions it will effect the outcome of the future. It remains me of Heavy Rain. I can't wait.

I played Bioshock on my pc and it was a great game. Bioshock 2 I bought it for my PS3.

It a single player--1st shooter and multiplayer. Rated M. I have just started the game and later I will give you feedback about weapons, storyline, and pointers.

Heavy Rain

This game is great. It's very interactive. You will play four different roles. Father, FBI agent, journalist, Private Investigator. (This is not your typical game--Uncharted 2 or Call of Duty. ) You are constantly making decisions and interacting with pretty much everything from driving, changing baby's diaper, setting up table for dinner, playing with the kids, investigating the crime scene, fight, etc. Depending on the activity you will have to perform you will have to do the following: move the controller from side to side, up and down, press x, o, triangle button, square, etc --and sometimes it gets tricky you have to simultaneously hold L1, x, o (other different combos) or other times you have to be quick. It keeps you involve and interested. The graphics are great. It is a single player. You could play this game a few times and have different endings.

Hopefully, I will have a good ending!!! :)

Uncharted 2 WINS BIG

Uncharted 2 Wins --Five awards at the 10th Annual GDC(Game Developers Choice) Awards, including Game of the Year.

Also, they won ten awards at the 13TH Annual AIAS(Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences) awards including Game of the Year. Wow.
